Anodyne Industries makes mind-blowing beats
· bychrison April 21 2011 11:55:51

Every once in a while an artist comes along that blows us away with their sound. One such artist is Anodyne Industries aka Aaron King. Based in San Francisco in the US, Aaron incorporates elements of breakbeat, dubstep, idm and drum & bass to come up with a sound that is fresh and hugely rewarding, even upon first listen. And to top things off most of his music is free.

Having released the sublime Gateway EP (2010) on the excellent IDMf Netlabel, Aaron has (for a limited time only) released the remix stems for the tracks 'Make it darker' and 'Body weapon'. Anyone interested in remixing these two tracks can do so. The winners will have their remixes feature on an upcoming Anodyne Industries VIP Remix EP in partnership with the IDMf Netlabel. So if you're a music producer yourself or know people that are please pass this on. More info. can be found in the link below.

VIP Remix contest

The Gateway EP is a truely awesome release. Opening track 'The Gateway' could be compared to Gridlock (also featured on EMG) at their finest whilst veering into dubstep territory. 'I would die for you (Remix)' explores some seriously good beats but also tugs on the heartstrings. And this is just the first two tracks. This FREE EP can be downloaded by following the link below.
